Overview
The Office of Health Policy and Planning was established in December 2004 to lead and support strategic planning and decision-making in the Family Health Administration. The Office also administers programs that promote access to primary health care services statewide and the availability of health care services in rural areas of the state. As an integral part of its mission, the Office supports and promotes data resources to inform the Administration's program planning, development, monitoring, and evaluation needs.
Mission
The mission of the Office of Health Policy and Planning is to promote and support capabilities for informed policy analysis, comprehensive strategic planning, and science-based program evaluation in the Family Health Administration.

A Family Health Administration equipped with resources that promote innovative, informed, and timely decision-making and effective program development.
